Surety Account Manager (Contract Construction) AB
The Opportunity
Our client, a national insurance brokerage, is looking for a Surety Account Manager (Contract Construction) to join their Commercial Insurance team. The Surety Account Manager is responsible for providing support to the surety and bonding team by processing and issuing bonds, invoicing premiums, preparation of submissions, creation of prequalification letters and maintenance of files. Key Account Responsibilities and Functions
- Continuously keep up to date on industry standards and technical aspects of the insurance industry
- Provide clear, concise, and effective advice to clients on bond issues
- Attend to the day-to-day needs of clients in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate insured and policy information using internal system
- Manage from start to finish all aspects of client renewals for all types of bonds
Required Skills and Qualifications
- General Level 1 license
- CIP or CAIB is an asset
- 2-5 years of insurance industry experience with knowledge of commercial insurance products
- Experience as a Surety Account Manager would be an asset
- Experience with Construction and Contractors insurance would be an asset
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
