The Opportunity

Our client is a world-renowned textile manufacturer and supplier, taking pride in delivering high quality fabrics and customer experience. They are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join the team. This amazing opportunity requires you to work closely with senior management, stakeholders and various other team members for the successful operations of supply chain through data collection and analysis.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Collect and analyze data on business and supply chain operations to improve efficiency and growth.
  • Perform project development and execution to enhance business and supply chain operations.
  • Regularly measure supply chain performance and report to management.
  • Develop and maintain quality management procedures, ensure product quality on new product testing, receipt, and dispatch of customers.
  • Continual communication with the purchasing, sales, and marketing departments to discuss and improve service delivery, along with providing technical support, clarify product requirements, and support product launches.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with shippers and vendors.
  • Work with purchasing and suppliers to source and test products and packaging.
  • Manage product development projects. Conduct research and testing of new products, packaging techniques and process techniques.
  • Assess vendor operations and enforce compliance with quality standards.
  • Develop product specification, operating procedures, and processes critical to quality product specifications. Analyze and interpret sales and market data to identify and understand consumer shopping behaviour and trends.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ Years of Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analyst, or related experience.
  • Post Secondary Education in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven knowledge of supply chain and/or inventory management.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis, forecasting tools, and ability to develop actionable insights from data.
  • Ability to absorb new information, excellent attention to detail and collaborate with cross-departments.
