The Opportunity
Our client; a growing brokerage with a fantastic reputation with both staff and clients; has an immediate opportunity for a Strata Insurance Marketer. The role of the Strata Insurance Marketer involves collaborating closely with the team to evaluate insurance risk submissions and present them to different insurance providers to obtain quotes. The perfect candidate should possess demonstrated proficiency in the field of commercial insurance and possess a comprehensive understanding of strata insurance products, services, and relevant laws. Key Account Responsibilities and Functions
- Evaluate insurance risk submissions and evaluate their eligibility for coverage
- Identify suitable insurance providers to request quotes from
- Manage the submission of risk information to insurance carriers
- Negotiate with insurance carriers to obtain competitive quotes
- Provide regular updates on the quote process to account managers and address any inquiries they may have
- Serve as a bridge between account managers and insurance carriers to facilitate seamless and efficient service
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on new products, coverage options, and market trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Commercial Insurance
- Level 2 General Insurance License
- Professional insurance designations such as CAIB, CIP, or CRM preferred
- Thorough comprehension of commercial insurance products and services
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
- Keen attention to detail and ability to thrive in high-pressure situations
- Strong organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Previous exposure to Epic and Policy Works considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
