Strata Insurance Manager Surrey, BC
The Opportunity
Our client; a growing brokerage with a fantastic reputation with both staff and clients; has an immediate opportunity for a Strata Commercial Insurance Manager. Based out of their Surrey, BC office, the Strata Manager will join an established team supporting a book of business and play a key role in the companies’ aggressive growth plans. Key Account Responsibilities and Functions
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner
- Ensure monthly new business and renewal retention targets are achieved and file audits and other compliance tasks are completed.
- Prepare and provide marketing and renewal presentations
- Cross-sell / up-sell additional products and services
- Complete and review coverage checklists on annual basis
- Build strong and positive relationships with assigned underwriters
- Assist Sales Team in the collection of deposits, premiums, and finance deposits
- Assist Sales Team in the collection of outstanding underwriting requests
- Maintain and update an organized data/filing systems
- Prepare client account reconciliations
- Provide clear and effective communication to ensure timely processing of all transactions
- Adhere to company policies
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial insurance experience, including Strata and Residential Realty
- Level 2 BC Insurance license
- Familiarity with EPIC is an asset
- Experience with Claims an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Passionate about the growth and development of employees, building productive and trusted relationships with clients and team members at all levels
- Exceptional oral and written communication abilities
