Executrade is pleased to partner with our client located in the southside of Edmonton in their search for a  Accounts Receivable Coordinator.  This position is ideal for someone who has previous experience working in the oilfield or manufacturing sector.   

The position is available to start asap and requires an individual with excellent attention to detail and accuracy along with strong MS Excel skills. The successful candidate must have impeccable communication skills as well as extensive experience dealing with different personalities. Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Process bank deposits and e-file deposit 
  • Record all customer payments in Navision 
  • Timely processing of all non-contractor customer billings:
  • Submit billed invoicing and all related documents to customers
  • Monitor and follow up on the approval status of billings submitted in online work order software.
  • Issue monthly customer statements as required/requested.
  • Process customer credit note requests and prepare customer account reconciliations in Navision.
  • Maintenance of non-contractor customer accounts in the AR databases 
  • Perform weekly collection activity (via telephone & email)
  • Communicate collection activity and status with the Senior Accountant.
  • Provide assistance with all other finance department administrative matters and accounts receivable matters as requested and/or assigned by the Senior Accountant on a weekly basis

Required Skills and Qualifications

  •  Post-Secondary Accounting diploma or a suitable combination of related work experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience processing accounts receivable.
  • Previous experience with Navision is an asset.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite of software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Understanding of best practices in accounts receivable processing and office administration.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills. This position requires clear and concise interaction with customers, business partners, company staff, and management.
  • Focus and concentration are required, and accuracy is imperative.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple demands (multi-task) and meet daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly accounts receivable deliverables.
