Service Technician III Kelowna, BC
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are happy to announce that we have partnered up with an Edmonton based company founded since the 1970s. They have two manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and multiple Customer Solution Centres located across national wide to serve clients across Canada.
We are looking for a service tech in Kelowna, BC with a track record of great customer service skill, carpentry skills and experience with hand tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate service truck and service local calls in homes and businesses
- Installation and repair of windows and doors in homes and businesses
- Trouble shooting and on-site repair of product and installation of Glass
- Handle on-site problems
- Perform heavy lifting
- Organizing times and locations of work orders
- Maintaining and repairing service vehicle as required.
- Drafting accurate and complete paperwork including the Service Summary Report to document repairs completed.
- Maintain contacts with dealers, contractors and homeowners
- Communication with customers, negotiating how costs of damaged products will be allocated and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
- Comply with all Health & Safety regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Mechanical aptitude, carpentry skill and experience with hand tools
- Good customer relations, written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a self-starter and independent – able to complete given tasks with minimal supervision
- Innovative and problem-solving skills
- Mechanically inclined and able to work on scaffolding at heights over 12 feet
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Flexible and adaptable in any situation
- Position will require working overtime and short notice
- Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract
- Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing
