Research Associate – Temporary (1 Year Contract)

Executrade Your Recruitment Specialists (EYRS) is growing and is looking to attract a driven, organized and energetic Research Associate to add to our team on a temporary basis. You will work closely with talented recruitment professionals that believe in delivering an exceptional client experience.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Division Director of the Engineer and Construction Department in Edmonton. The Research Associate will be responsible for supporting the Recruitment Consultants by providing administrative and research support on multiple level searches. The search process we provide can be quite intensive based on the client’s needs and the search.
The Research Associate will assist in sourcing candidates through online and offline tools available to build a strong pipeline of suitable candidates and will need to be innovative to formulate research strategies to identify world-class talent. You will also be involved in client “kick-off” meeting on new searches, support reference and background checks on candidates, arranging travel, scheduling meetings, set up interviews, and prescreen candidates.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research
- Sourcing and engaging qualified candidates
- Research internal database and external sources
- Reviewing and pre-screening applicants
- Conducting pre-screening calls
Coordination/administration
- Writing professional documents appropriate for an executive level audience
- Creating, editing, proofing and formatting various written documents including job profiles and postings, contracts and RFPs
- Awareness of all activities in play in order to support as needed
- Conducting leadership level reference checks
- Inputting and updating information into CRM
- Presentation preparation
- Scheduling meetings, interviews and other logistic duties as required
Other Duties
- Strong, active communication with team members
- Preparation for and participation in regular team meetings
- Liaise with candidates and clients throughout the recruitment process
- Participating in client meetings as required to gain a greater understanding of the client’s needs
- Conducting candidate interviews as required
Education & Experience:
- Post-secondary education in business, human resources or related field
- Previous experience in an administrative, sales or customer service focused role
- Project management experience would be considered an asset
- Working knowledge of search engines such as LinkedIn and Indeed
- Familiarity with a CRM or ATS would be considered an asset
