We are excited to once again partner with our long term Edmonton based client in their search for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis!

If you have outstanding customer service skills, an excellent attention to detail along with a positive can do attitude and above average MS Office skills this may be the position for you!

The Opportunity

Our well established Edmonton client is looking for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to act as the main point of contact for their organization.  This position requires an individual with outstanding written and verbal communication skills and a strong customer service background. Working within a small tight knit office you will be responsible for the following tasks.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions 

  • Answer all incoming calls on a busy multiline phone system.
  • Data entry and general word processing.
  • Mail and courier control.
  • Ship out promotional material such as brochures and signage as requested.
  • Track promotional material inventory on an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Assist other departments with answering calls and clerical tasks such as filing and photocopying.
  • Other various tasks as they relate to the day to day business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong Reception and customer service skills.
  • Minimum of 2-5years of related experience.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must thrive while working in a busy fast paced environment.
  • Must be a confident, professional self-starter with exceptional communication skills and have the ability to multi task.
  • Must enjoy working in a team based environment and be professional, courteous and friendly with all internal and external clients.
