Administrative Support – Fluent English/Mandarin

The Opportunity

Executrade is pleased to once again partner with our provincial government client in their search for a bilingual Mandarin/English Administrative Assistant to join their team for a long term temporary assignment.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Assist with daily language specific administrative duties (i.e. preparation of nametags, meeting packages, stakeholder materials and preparation of reports)/

  •  
  • Make travel arrangements.
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Assist in organizing events/projects.
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Draft correspondence and create documents.
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Perform records management tasks.
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Clerical duties, filing, photocopying and scanning.
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Other additional administrative duties as assigned.
  •  
  •  
  •  

Required Skills and Qualifications

  •

  •  
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years related administrative support experience.
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Fully fluent in English and Mandarin.
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Intermediate level MS Word, Excel and outlook skills.
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Proactive, well organized with outstanding time management and organizational skills.
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Must be a team player who enjoys working with others.
  •  
  •  
  •  

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly wage is based on experience.  Position is located in downtown Edmonton.
