You’ll play a key role in driving the growth of the book with a joint focus on new business development and leveraging existing client relationships. Here is what a typical day looks like
- Provide advice to clients on all areas of Personal Lines insurance
- Conducting sales calls to provided leads for new online business quotes ensuring accurate data, coverage amounts and endorsements
- Promote retention of existing customers by building strong relationships and providing quality customer service
- Navigate multiple insurance partner online portals to complete customer applications
- Meet and exceed sales and retention targets
- Communicate with insurance company Underwriters to ensure evolving guidelines are met
- Liaise between client and external insurance partners to ensure fair and proper representation for both parties
- Continuous self-development, through industry and community involvement, and industry related courses
The value you bring:
- Level 1 General Insurance License
- 5+ Years Broker Experience
- Experience providing excellent customer service
- The ability to communicate professionally in person, over the phone, and through email
- Experience managing a book of business or relatable work experience
- A desire to learn our systems and processes. If you don’t know something, ask!
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in the face of adversity
- Sales Minded Individual
