The Opportunity

Executrade is currently recruiting for a Journeyman Carpenter for our client in Edmonton who is familiar with residential renovations and new builds.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Read and interpret drawings and/or receive instructions from a supervisor
  • Select proper materials for specific tasks along with required quantities; as per building code
  • Fabricate and install stairs, decks and loading docks
  • Install drywall
  • General Carpentry
  • Assisting in the building or construction of various things
  • Some specialized tasks may require on-the job training
  • Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment
  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Our client believes in work life balance and do their best to keep weekends for family and rest.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Red Seal Certification
  • Experienced residential background¬†
  • CSTS
  • A Valid Driver’s License
  • It is preferred the applicant have a minimum 4 years of experience
  • Some assignment has additional screening requirements, such as background checks

Compensation and Benefits

  • $28 – $34 an hour
