Our client is seeking a forward thinking, adaptable, energetic and hungry Commercial Account Manager to join their a high performing team. In this role you’ll be supporting multiple producers and maintaining and servicing a book of business which includes mid market clients. Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Provide customer updates
  • Prepare and provide marketing and renewal presentations
  • Cross-sell / up-sell additional products and services
  • Liaise with Client Relations department on any problem or potential problem accounts, including any bad debt accounts
  • Complete and review coverage checklists on annual basis
  • Build strong and positive relationships with assigned underwriters
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner
  • Assist Sales Team in the collection of deposits, premiums, and finance deposits
  • Assist Sales Team in the collection of outstanding underwriting requests
  • Maintain and update an organized data/filing system
  • Prepare client account reconciliations
  • Provide clear and effective communication to ensure timely processing of all transactions
  • Adhere to company policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Level 2 Insurance License
  • CIP, CAIB, or working toward designation
  • A minimum of 3 years commercial insurance experience
  • Previous experience using Epic & MS Suite
  • Exceptional customer service acumen
  • Clear and effective written and oral communication
  • Previous experience working with sales agents and underwriters
