- Lead and manage a team of Commercial Insurance professionals, guiding their growth and development.
- Foster effective communication within the team and ensure timely updates to clients.
- Deliver compelling marketing and renewal presentations to clients, showcasing our services.
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to enhance client coverage and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Client Relations department to address and resolve challenging accounts.
- Conduct comprehensive coverage checklists annually to ensure clients have optimal coverage.
- Cultivate strong and positive relationships with assigned underwriters, maximizing mutual success.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries and needs.
- Support the Sales Team in collecting deposits, premiums, and finance deposits.
- Assist in gathering outstanding underwriting requests, ensuring seamless processes.
- Maintain an organized data and filing system for efficient record-keeping.
- Prepare accurate client account reconciliations to ensure financial precision.
- Ensure all transactions are processed in accordance with company policies and timelines.
- Take on additional duties as required to contribute to the overall success of the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Commercial Insurance, with demonstrated expertise in team management.
- Extensive knowledge of various markets and insurance products.
- Proficiency in EPIC software is highly advantageous.
- Possess a General Insurance License level 2.
- CIP or CAIB designation.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proven track record of delivering superior client service and maintaining client relationships.
- Adept at leading and motivating a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
