Our client, a growing Brokerage with a phenomenal reputation with both staff and clients has an immediate opportunity for a Commercial Account Manager. Based out of their SW Calgary location, the successful candidate will join an established team supporting a Transportation, Oil and Gas and General Book of Business. Key Account Responsibilities and Functions
- Provide customer updates
- Prepare and provide marketing and renewal presentations
- Cross-sell / up-sell additional products and services
- Liaise with Client Relations department on any problem or potential problem accounts, including any bad debt accounts
- Complete and review coverage checklists on annual basis
- Build strong and positive relationships with assigned underwriters
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner
- Assist Sales Team in the collection of deposits, premiums, and finance deposits
- Assist Sales Team in the collection of outstanding underwriting requests
- Maintain and update an organized data/filing system
- Prepare client account reconciliations
- Provide clear and effective communication to ensure timely processing of all transactions
- Adhere to company policies
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Level 2 Insurance License
- CIP, CAIB, or working toward designation
- High School diploma preferred
- A minimum of 3 years commercial insurance experience
- Previous experience using Epic & MS Suite
- Exceptional customer service acumen
- Clear and effective written and oral communication
- Previous experience working with sales agents and underwriters
