Commercial Lines Insurance Broker
The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established insurance brokerage firm and one committed to customer satisfaction, is looking for a Commercial Lines Insurance Broker to join their team to manage their book of business and retain new and existing client bases. Key Account Responsibilities and Functions
- Be the first point of contact for clients
- Responding to requests, queries and providing value-added services for clients
- Information gathering and submission to the appropriate insurance companies
- Prepare submissions in Policy Works and EPIC
- Maintenance of electronic and physical files
- Manage the Marketing of accounts to include new, renewal, and midterm changes
- Working with underwriters to negotiate rates and coverages
- Administrative functions as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in the Commercial Insurance Space
- Level 2 General Insurance License
- Marketing experience and assisting with client contacts on accounts
- Working knowledge of EPIC and Policy Works would be an asset
- Above and beyond communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective prioritization
- Ability to work as equally effectively independently and within a team
Compensation and Benefits
