The Opportunity
Our client, a trusted and client focused insurance brokerage who have been providing valuable advice to Albertans for decades, is looking for a Commercial Producer to join their team and help maintain and grow their client base to new heights. Key Account Responsibilities and Functions
- Build strong and positive relationships with existing client base
- Daily focus on building new client relationships to secure all lines of business
- Respond to requests and queries by providing value-add advice to clients and prospective clients in a timely and professional manner
- Provide accurate quotes to clients and prospective clients in a timely and professional manner
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets
- Maintain accounts receivables
- Prepare client documentation
- Compile information for and process applications for new clients
- Review and complete daily abeyances
- Clearly and effectively communicate with insurance companies and negotiate with underwriters
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience working in commercial lines
- CAIB or CIP designation would be an asset
- Level 2 general insurance license
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Previous experience in a leadership role would be an asset
- Clear and concise communication with both internal and external stakeholders
- Detail oriented
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
- Customer service oriented
- Strong networking and relationship building acumen
