Temporary Assignment On Call

The Opportunity

Are you a passionate individual with the experience to provide basic support services for naturopathic clinic doctors and support patients directly?  If so, please call Marilyn Chorney at 780-944-0023.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Contribute to a safe and calm environment for clients
  • Assist doctors with various treatments and procedures as required
  • Take patient vitals
  • Assist with the mixing of IV bags
  • Monitor IV patients
  • Finish IV treatments and remove IV lines
  • Clean and sanitize after patient care
  • Update EMR charting accurately
  • Maintain treatment rooms and supplies
  • Adhere to policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Health Care Aide training with completed certification
  • Minimum 2 to 3+ months training in a hospital
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
