The Opportunity

Our client, located in Richmond, BC requires an individual with exceptional customer service experience to join their team as a Showroom Representative.  Acting as the main point of contact in the showroom, you will ensure that all clients receive an A+ customer experience either in person or on the phone.  An excellent attention to detail, problem solving skills and a keen eye for detail are required in this position.  You will be working onsite Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.  Free parking is provided.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Greet all clients in a polite and professional manner.
  • Advise customer on sales and promotions.
  • Assist customers by making product recommendations and necessary pricing.
  • Work closely with the warehouse staff on product delivery timelines and customer pick up schedule.
  • Take payments, provide receipts as necessary; complete daily cash-out.
  • Relay customer comments/questions and concerns to the sales team as required.
  • Attend product knowledge/sales meetings when possible.
  • Continual learning of product knowledge.
  • Ensure the showroom maintains a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Rotate new sample presentations, record and control all sample sign outs.
  • Maintain and update binder of current price lists.
  • Data entry and basic computer tasks.
  • Other general duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-4 years of customer service experience in a professional setting.
  • Basic MS Office skills.
  • Ability to multi task and problem solve in a fast paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Friendly customer focused attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing digital filing systems an asset.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills – ability to anticipate the needs of senior staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadline driven tasks with constantly shifting priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary in the range of $40,000 – $45,000 with a generous benefit plan. Please quote Job Reference 35969.
