KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Set up and Operate CNC Lathes and Mills (Fanuc, Mazatrol, Okuma) – MUST
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and implement improvements and efficiencies
  • Other duties assigned by the Machine Supervisor and Lead Programmer
  • Occasionally participate in one-week-long special projects called “Kaizen Events” which includes small amount of overtime, physical exertion and presentations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with CNC Operation is a necessity
  • Mastercam or other CAM software experience is an asset but not necessary
  • Understanding of basic machining fundamentals
  • High School Diploma
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Assurance System
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Manual dexterity
  • Detail oriented
