Our Edmonton based client is the leader in the telecommunication industry across the North America market. Their services include but not limited to providing wireline construction and maintenance, inspections, site upgrades and modifications, steel fabrication services and more.

Our client is currently looking for a Civil Engineer or a Civil Engineer EIT. This role is responsible for providing support design and analysis; site and construction inspections will also be required when needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (From a recognized Canadian Institution) – Civil Engineering with structural background is a STRONG asset
- 3rd year students may be considered for interim field/inspector positions. (for EIT position)
- Proficient AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word &Excel etc.).
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Experience in writing technical reports in a clear, professional and accurate manner
- Experience in collecting accurate field measurements and data for the reports
- Physically fit to climb telecommunication towers under all weather and seasons
- MUST BE ABLE to work at heights in all weathers and seasons
- Experience with concrete and steel design, surveying/construction
- High attention to detail is a MUST
- Ability to maintain professional working relationships with co-workers and clients
